Lawren was born and raised in Moncton.  Acting was always a hobby and, after positive theatre experiences at Moncton High and St. F. X., he attended Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto.  Ten good years in TO was enough, however; Lawren moved back home to Moncton in 2002 with his wife, Lynne Post, and their son, Benson.  With the arrival of a daughter, Ellie in 2005, his plate is always full.  Luckily, he has found time for roles in Hairy Tease’s Send Me No Flowers, The Nerd, Love, Sex and the IRS , The Foreigner, Playing Doctor, Who's Under Where?, Rumors, Time Flies (Mirth and Melancholy), Pajama Tops, The Mind with the Dirty Man and The Secret of Our Sex Life (Mirth and Melancholy II).
