Since June, 2008,
the local theatre group, HAIRY TEASE PRODUCTIONS, has been awarding annual
bursaries of $2000 each to two south-eastern N.B. high school graduates who have
successfully completed Theatre Arts 120 and who will be pursuing full-time post
secondary education in the field of theatre arts.
The completed application
form (available in Guidance offices at Senior High Schools in Districts 01 &
02) should be received no later than Friday, May 25, 2012 and must be accompanied by a
video recording of the candidate’s work (max. 5 minutes), as well as a
confidential letter of recommendation from the respective Theatre Arts teacher.
The
winning recipients will be chosen by a committee of HAIRY TEASE PRODUCTIONS
personnel, with the formal bursary presentation being made at the Graduation
ceremony.
